These kids don't even have facial hair.
"I've never seen a protest where the average age is 14, 15, 16 years old," he said. "Look at it. These kids don't even have facial hair. When was the last time you saw a protest where three-fourths of the guys weren't bearded?"

Protesters, primarily high-schoolers but some older, some younger, walked out of their schools to gather downtown

4. It's always the young people.
I went to the most protests in high school, and there were always mostly other people that age there. Not strange. The young have the least sense of ownership of the system and are most likely to really, honestly question the existing set-up.

13. No point...just noting that the gathering is a bunch of hairless caucasians.
Is there some rule about commenting on the obvious?

7. At that age, I didn't give a shit about politics.
Great to see this generation getting educated and active so young.

This is our next influx of voters, people. I like what I'm seeing.

11. Yeah, BUT...
maybe 10% of 'em learn something/look it up. Get that edumacation on what they're involved in...

I'll take a fraction of them getting involved at that age.

Plus...*whispers*...what better way to intermingle with hawt chicks than during a protest, eh?
