This Whole "Race" Thing Got Me Thinking
Edited on Sat Mar-22-08 09:34 PM by KingOfLostSouls
you know, and we're all "equal' and its only the market.

all the other spin that dead intern joe and sean "I support domestic terrorism" hannity are saying

"oh its so reprehensible, oh its so horrible, wah wah wah."

how come none of them still won't vote for this guy "pro-life, pro-family, pro-corporation, pro-military industrial complex, pro-israel, pro-God, pro-reagan, anti-tax, anti-liberalism" traditional god fearing conservative typeof guy?

I mean if conservatives aren't race baiting, aren't being hypocritical, and aren't using this whole race issue to divide americans....

shouldn't they be voting for alan keyes?

on edit: the point I'm trying to make is that has anyone thrown down this gauntlet with conservatives? "fine, if you're not really being race baiting bigots who don't want to run on your record, then why haven't you voted for alan keyes, the reagan conservative?"

3. I'm being serious here
well, with a huge dose of sarcasm

but seriously, all we've heard is "race shouldn't matter." "there is no such thing as inequality in america." "wright is an abomination." "we don't agree with everything falwell or robertson has said."

I mean, alan keyes is pro life, pro family, yadda yadda. he's a perfect conservative.

I mean, this guy should be the republican nominee.

and we should be bringing this up to them every single day and every single time they bring up anything anymore about race and politics.

ALAN KEYES FOR GOP 2008!

6. They're all moaning about race
because as long as they were in their pleasant little suburban dream world, making gobs of money reading propaganda and happy in their bubbles, they were able to pretend that the struggles of the civil rights movement were over and black folks were still poor because they wanted to be poor and if they had any gumption, there would be a lot more of them at Pox and in their pleasant walled suburbs.

Rev. Wright just knocked them out of their dreamworld. They were forced to start thinking of race as an issue again, and they were not happy about it.

He popped their comfy little bubble, in other words, and made them confront the fact that their happy little paradise isn't a universal one, accessible to all.

Oh, they don't mind that racism still exists. They just want to be back in their self righteous haze, untroubled by facts.

he's preceived as too far right-wing.

10. If Keyes were white he'd have gotten even less support
being a "black conservative" is his main source of attention. He's a lunatic. Half the IL GOP didn't shun him because he's black.
