VOTER SELF IDENTIFICATION, -Big Movement In Democratic Direction_
In the latest Pew Research study showed VERY encouraging news for the Democratic Party. In the study Democrats solidified gains in "blue" states, and increased leads in "swing" states. A cautionary fact remains for Democrats however. In 'red" states Republicans have held their own.
The study showed 37% of voters consider them selves Independent (re-enforcing the importance of this demographic), 36% identify as Democrats an increase of 3%, and only 27% identify as Republicans a decrease of 6%.

When 'leaner's" are figured in the Democratic advantage is 51% to 37% the largest difference in polling history. The stage is set for a historic re-alignment of the political landscape. If only we seize the advantage handed us by the voting public.
