Patraeus complains of Iranian influence in Iraq. Ain't life a bitch.
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 04:29 PM by Postman
"The rockets that were launched at the Green Zone yesterday, for example... were Iranian-provided, Iranian-made rockets," he said, adding that the groups that fired them were funded and trained by the Quds Force.

....So then the Palestinian grievance of US guilt for Israel using US made and provided weapons against them is now legitimate.

2. Actually no, they didn't even think about that until Saddam was hanging
from his neck. These people are biblically stupid in their planing on how to run a country. No thought put into anything, remember these are the same people who said 'the war would pay for itself'. All major ground operations are over. Yadda yadda yadda.

3. I always thought
that dismantling the army, police and civil service was designed to keep the war going (or at least justify the occupation).

5. Iran actually supports the same government in Iraq that Bush does.
The corporate media/Neocons never mention that though.

7. Well, since we handed them Iraq, what the hell else did these smart people expect?
Theocratic Imperialism. Most people don't know that the US fundies had all the missionary brochures and bibles all printed out in local dialects so we could run right in and christianize Iraq. Now, they're rotting away in church basements. And Iraq is now shiia.

Merry Christmas.
