I read the whole darn book of Ecclesiastes 3 times, in 3 different
translations, and there's nothing like her ignorant quotation.

This is why lefties despise the religious, when religion is used
as opportunism. A very wise rabbi said: "This book was not written
for us now, but for people long ago. It's up to us to read carefully
and glean the meanings for us now: to promote goodness, and live
with kindness."

BTW: here a couple of good quotes frome Ecclesiastes that might
speak to our political situation:

Eccles. 9:11: "In this world the fast runners do not always win
the races; the brace to not always win the battles; wise intelligent
men do not always get rich; capable people do not always rise to the
high positions. Back luck happens to everyone."

And my personal favorite: Eccles. 4:13-14- "A man mayrise from poverty
