Pass this on to all your rightie friends...The Insanity of Hannity
BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JERRY FALWELL :I really believe that the pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make an alternative lifestyle — the ACLU, People for the American Way, all of them who tried to secularize America — I point the finger in their face and say you helped this (terrorist attacks on 9-11) happen.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

SEAN HANNITY, CO-HOST: Christopher Hitchens...

HANNITY: He profoundly and repeatedly apologized. And I'm sure you're perfect.

HITCHENS: No, he did not enough.

HANNITY: I'm sure you're perfect in your life and that you've never made any mistakes.

HITCHENS: I've never committed treason like that. I don't believe in the sincerity of his apology.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,273295,00.html

***********************
However, on the The Rev Wright issue Hannity's head almost exploded...not only that but he demanded that Senator Obama drop out of the race, and the US Senate, for being associated with Wright.

Yo Hannity - double-standard much?

3. Semantics that was not
I am filled with bubbling bile regurgitating up my esophagus when I read (I cannot watch the traitor) of Hannity calling those outbursts "mistakes."

Mistakes? You do not mistakingly assert causality on independent events. When Hannity gets into his spin doctoring stooge performances he makes me want to smack him in the face with a rolled up constitution.

5. Compare Natalie Maynes to Ted Nugent, and Hannity's hypocrisy just shines
Hannity spent the better part of a year trying to ruin the Dixie Chicks' career after Natalie Maynes said she was "ashamed" to be from Bush's Texas.

But when Ted Nugent called Obama a "piece of shit" and Hillary a "bitch" as he held up two assault rifles and told Obama to "suck" on one and Hillary to "ride" the other, Hannity refused to offer the slightest criticism of Ted.

What a fucking asshole.

9. Yes that's a better example
Hitchens is an asshole, and I would feel uncomfortable passing on the Hannity clip in the OP because I don't want to be thought to be a Hitchens fan. It's a stretch, but people -- especially rwers -- will make it anyway.

13. Hannity
Hannity is wrong 98% of the time...but he's RIGHT about WRIGHT! And it IS true that if Juan McCain attended a church (for 20 yrs.)that had the David Duke theology, he would be GONE IN 5 MINUTES!

15. How do we know that he hasn't?
It ain't like the Republicans, with all of their connections to Rev. Moon and the Religious Right, ever get very "vetted" as to the nature of their minister's sermons.

Look at all the bullshit Romney went through. He had to give a speech of his own, if I recall.

22. His speech was to placate the evangelical religious right.
It wasn't for the benefit of liberal secularists. Most of us don't care.

24. The crap Romney took was based mostly on racism within the LDS
The church was basically segregated (at least its hierarchy was) until the 1970's or so.

Funny how racial issues can be twisted any which way...and how they resonate in the MSM.

btw, couriousg(eorge), did you mean to misspell "curious"? (Just curious.)

26. Obama was candid about his faith and his relationship to the minister.
Romney barely mentioned (distanced) himself from his religion. Obama said that he disagreed with the Rev's words, but loves the man. That's somewhat akin to "hate the sin, love the sinner." We all have friends and relatives we love dearly, but they make us cringe when they say racist or otherwise stupid things.

27. McCain has no theology except "go with the (right wing) flow..."
I'm sure you know nothing more about Wright than Hannity tells you. That's too bad.

29. How is it equivalent?
Wright and his race have been oppressed, whereas the David Duke theology church would be on behalf of the race with advantages.

And you're probaly wrong about him being gone in five minutes. It would be ignored or glossed over or defended.

And I can see that McBush's having been for amnesty for illegals makes him too liberal for you.

19. Sincerity Is The Secret Of Success. Once You Learn To Fake ...
.
sincerity, you will be a success.

Mr Hannity is a snake oil salesman. SH will say whatever he is paid to say. Like other America hating men like Trash Limbaughski and Ann Coulter, these people repeat whet ever the script says, over and over. As long as you but it, they will sell it.

28. It's a god damned America for not discriminating ENOUGH...
per Fallwell. Damned to have 9/11, Katrina. Damned because we don't discriminate against gays and abortionists ENOUGH.

It's a strong god damn America for discriminating too much...
per Wright.

Which is it?
For which does your god condemn US?
1. for having love and forgiveness would god condemn us as Fallwell would think.
OR,
2. for bigotry and intolerance would god condemn us as Wright thinks.

I ask you.
