Iraq: Viet Nam redux
I don't think I want to live here any more.
Not DU.
The United States of America.

God bless and God damn the DUer who put up this website.
(Sorry, man. Wish I could credit you.)

You can watch many documentaries for free.
I watched 'Why We Fight' this morning.
Then 'Cheney's Law'.
And then I watched 'Hearts and Minds'.

Presidents have lied to us about why we needed to go to war since Truman. Maybe before that, but that's the time period where the film begins. The only one not mentioned is Carter, but I think the film was made during the Nixon years.

Watch it.
And see the parallels between Viet Nam and Iraq.
We don't have years of experience.
We keep making the same mistakes over, and over, and over again.
But I guess you already knew that?
krep
