Even so, I'm glad they took it. Slightly adjusted because I turned it in before the dubious milestone of 4,000 deaths was reached.

I wish it was one of those subjects that we all just saw in a movie or something.

This actually posted earlier, but they didn't move it til today (well, the 24th). Ever-so-slightly edited to reflect that we have now reached that dubious distinction of 4,000 American troop losses in Iraq. I wrote the original a few days beforehand.

Funny, I don't feel like celebrating so much...

But I am glad that they allowed me to weigh in on this. At the risk of being repetitive, I think EVERY column EVERYWHERE should in some way be denouncing this war - with as much feeling as possible.
