Sometimes I don't blame our Democratic Leadership for caving to ushler because we long ago made it clear that we don't mind tyranny, as long as we're "left alone".

People fail to realize that eventually, tyranny fucks with EVERYONE. Though I will credit the Bushies with what is undoubtedly the nicest, kindest, gentlest form of totalitarianism ever invented.

We could all easily be beaten or dead for our beliefs. If Busevism had come about before the 60s, I think lots more of us would be.

But we are a docile nation, now, to our betters.
