How do the Republicans lie about this???
Edited on Wed Mar-26-08 08:42 AM by Stuart G
This little piece is amazing..please read...from MSNBC news. on drop in durable goods order:

".....The declines showed up in a number of areas. Demand for manufacturing equipment plunged by 13.3 percent, the largest amount on record, while the category that is seen as a good proxy for business investment fell by 2.6 percent, the biggest decline in four months."

Of course the economy is ........"slowing but still growing."..sure, and I am the Easter Bunny..

3. I think that by the time the conventions roll around....
the American people will not have any illusions.

The Democratic nominee will win by a landslide.

5. I agree completely...
The utter disgust that we feel will finally be universal. Sadly, it will take a very severe recession or perhaps worse, for this to happen.

8. it is sad......the periodic destruction by Repubs.....
that create extended Democratic control.

Why is it that Democrats always have to clear the rubble?

results in it coming to a stop eventually.

If a semi is hauling material to a manufacturer and starts to run out of fuel it will slow down until the fuel runs out. While the semi is stuck there the manufacturer's production is slowing down until it finally runs out of those parts. If that semi doesn't get more fuel the manufacturer won't be able to start production back up.
