1. Definitely "reality based" people the Inuit people are....

Sounds like they all understand the situation very well - the basis, strengths, weaknesses of their culture, causes, effects, etc.

Btw, it's amazing that they're so knowledgeable about themselves and 'the world' when you consider that they (probably) don't have cable teevee, or 'ready access' to newspapers, magazines all of the time....telling them what to think, what to 'know'.

Hmmmm....

I hope that we can do something to save their way of life/culture....many, many issues all over the globe. I hate the thought that 2 more years might be wasted waiting for the chance to begin things 'for the good' again.
