If you could travel back in time
and save the life of a major historical figure who died prematurely or tragically would you do it? Is what makes somebody like Gandhi, Kennedy or Lincoln a great human being partially because they were martyred?

5. Interesting question that I haven't thought about for decades. IMO the world evolves toward our
ultimate goal, whatever that is, probably annihilation.

A corollary question might be, "A billion years from now, will it matter what is or isn't done today?"
