Suggestion to Admins: Making the Career forum free??
Edited on Thu Mar-27-08 08:19 PM by djohnson
I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this, but I feel most would support the idea of letting non-donors post to the Career Help and Advice forum.

It's a slow moving forum, and I just learned from another DU participant that it may be due to the fact that we have to donate in order to post there.

I'm sure that most donations are proportional to how much we make. If the forum were free, perhaps more people can find jobs faster and then move on to donate after they become employed.

Most people I'm sure will stand behind the idea of helping fellow DUers succeed in the "free market". I hope that this idea is technically and logistically feasible too.

2. Thanks
Someone once told me it's not very 'sexy' to care about other people, but if nothing else it makes sense for other reasons as well.

4. That makes sense
Maybe the "frugal living" forum should be free too? :p

5. I agree on both counts
Frugal living and career both sound like something a progressive would offer for free.
