I would love a ten minute conversation with the man. Probably not enough time, but I'd be happy.

4. True confessions:

I've known Howard for years, even before he launched his bid for the presidency.
I've talked with him for as much as an hour, and jammed with him on guitar, and
he'll be the first one to tell you that I'm better (but we're both Leo Kottke fans).

One of the things I like most about Howard is that he's the same in private in a
one-on-one as he is on the Sunday talk shows. A very special man, indeed.
