I did not know about this. We have a family member who was a Bataan Death March survivor and a POW. He was my husband's uncle, on his mother's side.

He came home and was a veterinarian in California for years and years. He died in December of 2004, just days short of his 92nd birthday.

I don't think he would like Obama much.

8. I come from four generations of men who have served

this country with distinction. My Great Great Grandfather served with the Texas Rangers and then in the Rebel Army. I have an uncle who is MIA in Korea to this day. My father was with the combat engineers at the Chosin Reservoir. I did my year in the Army, as a volunteer, in Vietnam.

I know about how men suffer during wartime. Choose another reason to hate Obama. Your prejudice is showing.

How many other people have you heard use that very phrase to describe a situation in their lives?? Do you hate them as well??

5. That's not the point. It was a very insensitive comment...maybe he

knows the phrase "Bataan Death March" but doesn't know the history. If that's the case,
it's not a good thing. Bush didn't know much history either...
