Lieberman on with George S. praising McCain and Bush.
Says the Democratic Party is controlled by a tiny radical group of loud-mouthed leftists.

Sounds like Zell Miller. My party left me.

because when we pick up seats in the Senate this fall he will become irrelevant. Strip him of his Chairmanship and Committee assignments and boot him out of our caucus. Hey Joe, go Cheney yourself!!

4. His only future is to go republican
before the next election. I think even the conservative democrats will turn their backs on him by then and if he doesn't turn republican by then or possibly even if he does, the republicans will find someone they can trust to run for the position. IMO, he's toast.

5. Maybe he's looking to be keynote speaker at the R convention this year
If so, it'll be his last shot at a national audience.
He'll be fighting Zell Miller for relevance ratings,
and having an uphill battle at that. I wonder what
made him abandon all the social consciousness that
made him a Democrat in the first place? Or was just
lingering bitterness as having lost the D nomination
in 2006? I'll bet he's still pissed (big time) about that.
This is probably his idea of payback (probably read the
book by Clarence Thomas for inspiration).

6. He should just put the "R" next to his name and get it over with.
Traitorous bastard.
