Tweety further affirms his status as Bush Fluffer: Junior showed "GUTS" when booed at baseball game
Watch: Matthews Said Bush Showed "Guts" At Baseball Game

MSNBC's Chris Matthews told his viewers Monday that the hearty round of boos that greeted President George W. Bush when he threw out the inaugural pitch at Washington D.C.'s new baseball stadium weren't a big deal, because all politicians get booed at ball games, and Bush "showed a lot of guts" throwing out the pitch.

1. I honestly don't think it registered with him
Of course, he is so convinced that he is right and everyone else is wrong, maybe he even revels in it. Who knows? Then he went up to the broadcast booth and stayed for THREE FRICKIN' INNINGS, while they all gabbled about his "high heat" when he threw out the first pitch.

2. If all politicians get booed and boosh showed a lot of guts
then the other politicians must also show a lot of guts too, no?

So why does tweety find that worthy of comment?

4. Good point. I didn't hear him gushing when Kerry threw out a pitch
at a Red Sox/Yankees game during the 2004 convention. There were some boos there, too, sadly.

5. The announcer at the game said no President
ever done it better. I listened to two versions on You-tube one had the Boos and the one from CNN the boos were edited out.

12. I saw the boo fest live and
the boos were much louder than anything I've heard today.

8. He showed GUTS when he deserted the Texas Air National Guard, too
Edited on Mon Mar-31-08 07:36 PM by SpiralHawk
And Bush showed GUTS when he sat on his ass reading "My Pet Goat" for 1/2 hour after having been told twice that the USA was under attack on 9/11.

Rotten, occultly polluted guts.

11. Whatever will Matthews do when he no longer has a chimp to fluff?
Chimp fluffing is his main calling in life.

15. Oh Bullshit.
Bush sure has a lot of guts dealing with critics...oh like loyalty pledges and hiding away protesters.

Unfortunately for Bush this time he couldn't surround himself with a handpicked crowd.

Now I'm sure he probably threw a temper tantrum afterwards, but it's not like throwing a ball for that whole thirty second photo op took any guts.

You know the bar is set unbelievably low when dealing with the general public is considered courageous.
