To Moderator MVD and others, an apology

Recently I posted a very sarcastic post in response to some right wing attacks that are being made against one of our candidates.

It backfired.

It was a little too dark and inappropriate. I genuinely pissed off some people and I unintentionally added some ugliness to the board.

I'm sorry.

I took some right wing talking points to their absolute and absurd extreme and didn't realize how offensive my sarcasm could be. I assure all DUers that the sarcasm was directed at right wingers and no one else.

I know the MODs have their hands full with the heated exchanges on this board and I'm sorry that I added to the mix.

That's why I'm not going to admit that I spelled "you're" incorrectly in the subject line of my post because that would show weakness.... and I ain't no weak minded weaklings...

IMHO you made a good point. But sarcasm works for me. I have never been one who felt the need to be politically correct every moment of every day.

But that's just me.

In the hyper-sensitive world that our primary season has become people sometimes don't get the humor of sarcasm. :sarcasm:
