Seeking Stephanie Miller joke explanation (O'Reilly)
I am SO GLAD I quit my full-time job, because now I can listen to my beloved Steph from 9 to noon! (Okay, there are other reasons I quit, but this is a bonus!)

But I'm a bit at sea over one of the gang's favorite bits of late--can someone explain it to me? It's not in the Stephanie Miller Show Wikipedia entry yet--I checked--so DU is my only hope. It's the O'Reilly "descent into madness" bit, when they start talking in really high-pitched voices and then sound like the dog on Blue's Clues ("pa pa pa pa pow")--what IS that and where did it come from? I must know!

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Thanks! :hi:

1. Those are clips of Bill O'Reilly trying to mock those who mock him.
I just sent Stephanie Miller a new clip of Bill for her to use.

4. Good lord
HE actually made those odd noises? The dude is insane.

But at least he provides great material for funny lefties!

Has she played your clip yet? I've heard the Chicken Dance and Happy Together clips--I was laughing so hard in my car other drivers were staring at me--and for once it wasn't because of my crappy driving!

6. I just sent her the clip a couple hours ago
Dear Stephanie and crew,

I have been kicking myself for weeks now, because I couldn't find this soundbyte in time for you to add it to the Bill O'Reilly Chicken Dance.

Hopefully, you'll still be able to upgrade the song with what I think is THE ULTIMATE Bill O'Reilly Soundbyte.

Captain Phonesex was angry because Comedy Central was (justifiably) holding him up to ridicule, and he was afraid that a generation of "Dopey Kids" were going to think of him only as the sad, sad tragic clown that he is.

I finally located this clip in the deep, dark recesses of my iPod, (which I use to listen to The Stephcast, only $4.95 per month when you buy a year in advance-- which I gladly did) but for the life of me I cannot remember where I originally downloaded it.

Anyway, please share and enjoy it.

Also, I just wanted to say that DemocraticUnderground.com loves you unanimously and unconditionally. Please give them a shout-out-- and linking to them from your site would be truly awesome, too!

Sincerely,

Ian

3. That's actually him (LieLey) saying that.
"Liberal left, liberal left, liberal left, bu, bu, bu, bu, bu, bu."

(Something like that.)

5. I had NO IDEA
Shee-it, he's supplying his own material with which to be mocked. What a great rightie for that--making beloved Steph and her crew's work easy!

8. Yes, all one has to do is imitate the sounds he makes, and
it's very entertaining.

Same deal with monkeys.

10. O'Reilly was mocking the far-left loons (us) and made clucking sounds, which Chris Lavoie used to
create a rendition of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_Dance">The Chicken Dance. I think he also tried to imitate a woman's voice and used a high-pitched voice, can't detail the circumstances on that one.

BO was mocking an interviewer who was interviewing the two Edwards bloggers. Billo didn't think that they were attacked enough. So he imitated the interviewer with a creepy child-like voice.
