Answer: The same thing as GW Bush if his Dad had not been President!

So, what is your best guess? Name a profession (or not so much one).

I'm thinking, living on their $700 a month Social Security in public housing, eating on food stamps .... you get the picture.

3. #894 out of 899
My first thought was that he would never have made it through college. And he'd never had gone to Annapolis.
Considering his temperment and controlling personality he most likely would have ended up in the military as a grunt in Nam. Had he not been killed I am guessing he would have gone to night school and ended up in some low management job. He probably could not advance because of concerns about his constant errors and trouble handling lower personnel.
He would have been a HUGE reagan backer and probably a very right wing leader in the local party. My guess is he would have been married at least 4 times.

13. YES "he'd never had gone to Annapolis." So, I ask, how many more kids
in the academies are there due to parental influence?

4. He would have been "washed" out of the military academy, drafted
and sent to Viet Nam as an ordinary soldier.. what happens after that is anyone's guess..

Miss Cindy-the-heiress would not have given him a second look..

he might be a grizzled vet, pushing a shopping cart in your town..asking for change

5. So, you are saying that people on public assistance are stupid?

7. NO. Are you saying McCain is stupid?
WOW, I did not realize I was insulting anyone on public assistance by putting John in their midst!

9. There is such a thing as carrying political correctness too far.
Of course many people on public assistance are NOT stupid.

Unfortunately, however, the free market economy IS the hardest on those who have the fewest talents and skills -- so people with lower intelligence are more likely than others to need public assistance.

6. He wouldn't have gotten into the Naval Academy
His father had the connections for him to get in, his scores were not
good enough.

McCain would have been a real estate agent in Arizona.

10. No, used car salesman is my guess.
Either that, or selling cemetery plots.

8. And like Bush, McCain's greatest need is to prove something to his father
and grandfather. He's on record saying that nothing motivates him more.

Great. His father and grandfather were admirals. He'll never be one. But if he's President he CAN be the biggest warmonger in the world -- probably that would impress them, if they were still alive.

Just like little George has been impressing big George all these years.

11. failed small businessman
He would have been drafted, served one hitch as a grunt, and then come home to start a hardware store. But he was so inept that he broke most of the merchandise, and drove away customers with his vile temper. Now he sits in the park throwing rocks at squirrels.

12. Retired, living here in Florida, driving slow in the left lane, and flipping me off when I pass him.
He'd have a little condo or block house and would constantly yell at the neighbors about their property upkeep. His only companion would be an ornery old dog that would eventually get fed up with him and run off.
