I'm doing it again today. Categories and the definition of PODD have changed slightly, but its just fine-tuning. This list contains only new items, not previously listed. As before, I am only looking at the first page of LBN, GD, Economy, and Environment forums.

It seems that "Destroying the middle class" has a lot of items today. OTOH, I wonder how much the articles from the Corporate Media dictate what is noticed by DU posters. If I had more time, I would try to, at least, make a note when a story was NOT from the Corporate Media.

Problem is, I can only do these updates with the "edit" function for one hour.

I had put the NASA cuts into "Destroying the Middle Class", but you are correct. It is more important that they are destroying science. (Although, the Space Shuttle is a decrepit POS that is heavily militarized. The problem is, they would never REDIRECT that science budget to something more useful. They will just CUT it. So, yes, its another hit on science.)
