Outrageous K. Couric hit piece on Democrats last night.
I was listening to CBS on my way home from work. She started out with the words, why can't politicians just tell the truth? Then 8 yr clip of Al Gore saying I took the incentive and created the internet.

She mentioned Hillary's Kosovo flap, then B.Obama missing by one yr. JFK being responsible for his fathers education in the US.
She lightly dusted McClain and finished with old video of Al and bush* on stage in 2000 saying al Gore was untrustworthy in the eyes of the voters.
I was thinking what bush* has done to the world. The death and destruction.
I guess he was more trustworthy in the eyes of the voters.

1. I can't believe she still has that job
I think the first week she was on she had a new commentary section. Rush Limpy was one of the first guests. That was the end for me, not that I watch much TV news anyway.

4. I know, her guests that first week signaled the end
of the independent news department at CBS. It would hence be all conservatives, all the time.

I had stopped watching in 2004 but I've seen a couple of clips and she really is deplorable. Morning coffee with perky Katie just doesn't play well on what used to be a remotely serious, if corporatized and inaccurate, evening news program.

2. I can't stand her...
she's a vapid little POS who doesn't belong on The View, much less anchoring the frigging evening news on a network.

He husband's unfortunate death actually boosted her chances of getting further ahead - she had Peter Principled out on Today, but all the women who felt sorry for her loss defend her no matter how insipid she is.

Pisses me off no end.

7. She should anchor for Fox News, she is certainly unfair and
unbalanced enough. It might even help the republican propaganda news in its poor ratings.

I haven't seen her the few times I've watched 60 Minutes either. Though I was glad not to have to put up with her bizarre attempt to look like a real journalist by looking from under her brows and giving me the creeps, I'm always afraid they are going to flash her on my screen.

15. Katie is a total rethuglican tool. Her ratings are in the toilet.
She must have an ironclad contract or something to still be on the air. :puke:
