Freepers get revenge !!
Edited on Wed Feb-28-07 02:35 PM by jaysunb
Last week I posted an annual poll that ranks Senators by their integrity, honor, dignity and character.
John Kerry was the winner in 06, but it was an open field this year, that is, until the freepers got hold of it.

Last week, not a republican Senator was ranked above # 50 ( HRC held that spot ) and Joe Lieberman ranked 100th...and still does( Mc Cain stayed at 99 ) Well, the freeps have gotten hold of the poll and the results are predictable...sort of. Two Dems, Kerry & Webb are in the top 50...McCain is not.

Go to the site and rank the senate http://newpoliticalreview.com/poll.php

This one means that the freepers who have nothing better to do can sit all day and click on this stuff.

Screw them. They lost. Will continue to lose. Everyone who has an IQ greater than Cool Whip knows that Barack Obama has greater integrity, dignity and honor than Saxby Chambliss.

36. Some of our self-appointed politcal analysts should take a look at this.
Particularly the ones who keep insisting "It's gonna be Guiliani!"

Yes, I know he's not in the Senate, but the message here is this: there's NO WAY They're going to nominate someone pro-choice. Obviously it's going to be some Jesus-drunk goober like Brownback, who will promise them that he'll make birth control illegal.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=389&topic_id=239274#240464

This week it's Repubs.

It's not a poll. It's an orchestrated rally competition, who can send the most voters there. It's American Idol.

It has nothing at all to do with "integrity, honor, dignity, and character"

It doesn't get us universal health care, or peace, or alternative energy.

It's a waste of time.

52. Nah - it's a small group making automatic postings that get by site's program.
Somebody is cracking it on both sides, so this poll lost its legitimacy a couple weeks ago.

The site went through all last year without the concerted hacking. Now, it's just a game of what side are the hackers on.

54. What did they expect? The site's begging to be botted
Edited on Thu Mar-01-07 11:27 AM by jgraz
It's not really even a crack -- you just write a little script that POSTs your votes and then clears the ONE, clearly-labeled cookie they use to prevent repeat voters. (Not that I would do such a thing, no O8) ). Hell, they don't even check for multiple postings from the same IP.

Hopefully, they'll learn their lesson for next year. Those dang internets are hard for political-types to figger out.

Edit: To even say it's "both sides" is incorrect. There are now crackers cracking at the original cracking programs -- trying to get their favs to stay on top during the huge Dem/Rethug pendulum swings. Notice how Obama somehow rose to number 2 while Hillary sunk to 50. It's actually not a bad way to see which senators have the most tech-savvy people on their staffs.
