Rove Speaks On Communication At Texas State

Bush advisor Karl Rove took Texas State University students through a history of communication at the White House Tuesday and how dramatically coverage of the president has changed in a century.

"Woodrow Wilson suffered a debilitating stroke on Oct. 2, 1919, that made him an invalid for the remaining 17 months of his term," said Rove. "His wife governed in his name, and the public did not know the extent of his illness. But on Jan. 13, 2002, George W. Bush choked on a pretzel and passed out while watching TV, and the world knew about it within a matter of minutes.

But Rove couldn't escape heckling about his alleged involvement in leaking the identity of CIA operative Valerie Plame.

"How does the White House respond to these rapid changes?" said Rove.

"Rat on the CIA!" yelled one heckler, but it didn't phase the White House staffer.

"Nice one," replied Rove.

Whoever this heckler was---I thank him from the bottom of my heart.

It's so important that these thugs are aware that America is on to them,
and that we do not like them. These jerks sit in their meetings--plotting
and planning their crimes. The only thought they give to the American people
is when they craft their lie-based marketing plans--when they want to sell
us an illegal war or fool us into accepting their evil actions.

It's terrific when someone heckles Rove of flips off Cheney. All of these
thugs need to be aware that we're not as stupid as they believe--and that
America has plenty of disdain for them.

Kudos to this heckler, and anyone else who protests, speaks out, or lets
these bozos know how America really feels.
