5. He's also not an ex-president. I can't see how anyone could make an issue out of someone's private

income.

7. That's Peanuts Compared To War Profiteers
As always wealth on DU is trashed...money is always bad and if a person makes a lot of money they must have screwed someone to get it.

Those who want to make something of this will...most won't care.

8. Put me in the "won't care" column.
A remark was made the other day in another forum regarding Chelsea and the fact that she works for a New York based Hedge Fund. I asked if it bothered that poster if she made good money doing what she does, based on her talent for the position and/or her abilities in general. "If she made $250,000 last year, would that bother you?"

I got no response.

11. I Understand The Frustration
It wasn't long ago I was looking up the economic ladder with little more than the change in my pocket. I worked my ass off and it seemed others were doing better than I was. I was very bitter and frustrated.

As a rich acquaintance I know noce said...a million doesn't go as far as it used to...and that to be a "real" millionaire, you needed assets in excess of $10 million. Even then there's gonna be someone with more money and more toys. If you do the math, the money they earned is modest compared with what others have earned. Sports figures easily draw this type of money and fans bitch when the local team lets a favorite get away cause he got a big money offer elsewhere. Money does strange things to people.

Cheers...
