1. That's a fair assessment
A million dead Iraqis and not one "conservative" American Cares.

3. "The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic."
Joe Stalin said that and it's too true.

The million dead Iraqis are reduced to faceless, nameless, victims sacrificed for greed for power and political posturing.

But, they weren't celebrities with fascinating sex-lives and lots of money, so who cares.

4. I get a kick out of the stats we get from the Administration. Last time I heard, they said that it
Edited on Wed Feb-28-07 04:47 PM by IsItJustMe
was somewhere in the neighborhood of 40,000 Iraqis for this go around. I have heard more accurate figures from more reputable sources say its somewhere around 600,000.

Knowing what our government does with the unemployment figures, that is they only count those people who are collecting unemployment, and not those who ran out of unemployment, underemployed, or just quit looking,I would have to honestly say I believe the later figure.

No man is an island and every persons death effects us all. Believe me now or believe me later, but some day you will believe me.

5. The 600,000 figure's already old.
1,000,000 sounds about right.

7. The human suffering is almost immeasurable.
Not only the deaths, but the maimings, injuries, and people who're refugees both inside and outside of Iraq ... more than enough of a reason to
Impeach
Remove
Indict
Convict
Imprison
(rinse, repeat)
!!!
