12. LOL!
What will you do to help Ron Paul win?
"Campaign on myspace and come to the meetings when I can. I will also try to campaign using my music as an avenue for reaching potential voters."

Now go to his myspace and listen to his music. Ron Paul has zero chance. LOL

6. He Forgot Adulterers
The sign only names "adulteresses" - this would imply that a woman who has sex outside of marriage is in danger of Hell Fire, but a man who does so = no problem.

Yep, sounds like the bible all right.

8. Give credit where credit is due
Say what you want about the spelling of Ron Paul supporters, but these guys are organized and motivated.

They are supporting new Republicans running for Congress, and working together to take back the Republican party.

Here on Democratic Underground, I frequently speak of electing new Congressmen and Congresswomen that will respect the Constitution, and get very little support.

I have been trying to organize Kucinich people to run for Congress and help take back the Democratic Party, with very little interest.

I am more than a little jealous that they can see the big picture and work together, whereas DUers only want to bitch about presidential candidates and fail to see the the US Congress has been enabling Bush in his war crimes and ruin of our economy. Neither Obama or Hillary are going to change that.

We need to FOCUS and work together to elect a new Congress, to return the Democratic Party to the ideals of our great leaders JFK, RFK and MLK.

10. If you really want to organize, get off the internet.
Seriously. The internet is pretty good as a communication tool, but only about half the people on here seem to really do stuff. You need to get offline and find some local people to work with. Ironically, you can use the internet to help you find them, but for some reason, IMO, the internet falls short when it comes to real organization and activism, cyber-only, that is.

15. Well I can certainly help locally
but I also think we can work together to help each other in our districts.
The internet can be used to inform, motivate and help us work together.
The idea behind this site www.peacecandidates.com is for everyone to support all peace candidates, find deadlines and requirements, help spread the word, create materials that can be used etc.
The internet has incredible potential if we use it.

13. I don't know where you live
but here in my community, the RP people are pretty much like the one in reply #1 - bigots and narrow minded fools. They recently packed the Minutemen convention held here.

You bet they are motivated but so are many KKK members.
