What's your favorite political book of the past year?
I'm looking for some new political non-fiction to read. Any suggestions?

1. If you haven't had the chance to read Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein
Run, don't walk to the nearest bookstore.

I have an undergrad in Economics and this book schooled my butt on the topic. More valuable to my understanding of the macro scene than 4 years of classes on the topic.

You will see the neo-con agenda in a whole new light, I promise.

I also loved Jack Cafferty's book "It's Getting Ugly Out There." A fun, easy read.

19. I realize you are looking for
non fiction, but two books tie in:
The Plot Against the White House by Jerome Archer (non fiction) and
It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis (fiction).
