Take a break from politics today...

It's 4pm here in the midwest. I am sitting outside, it's about 68F, and the sun is out. I've got my laptop here and a caballito of some good anejo tequila. Got a little buzz going on. I have some nice acoustic Latin American folk music playing. What a lovely day to not worry about what Hillary is up to!

Anyone else enjoying the day for a change?

1. I'm in Ohio

and the weather is freaking awesome. I had a nice walk with the dog earlier, and we'll probably grill for dinner

2. Awesome! I did that last night with the gal pal...

Tonight we're forced to dine with her mother. Actually, I like her mom -- but I am not a big fan of Outback. Hopefully the buzz will last a few hours without significant additions of "the good stuff"... :D

3. Went to the Buddhist temple and

listened to the rain on the roof while I sat and meditated.

That is something I'd like to experience at least once in my life. I've tried meditation before but I could never get in "the zone"...

5. I'm waiting for the crappy weather to clear

so I can go jogging with the dog. A break from politics is sometimes really nice.
