One extra wrinkle: the children are often unable to state the names of their parents, or identify multiple mothers. The adults on the ranch were not cooperating in identifying the children. So CPS often doesn't know the names of the children, or who they belong to. So they can't even give direct notice to the children's parents -- they'll be posting them in the newspapers as unidentified.

4. The state is filing for temporary custody. Individual parents must

identify themselves and identify their children and respond to the legal petitions. If they don't, they will lose custody, I'd expect. This is so bizarre. Who would have thought that the parents would refuse to identify their own children?

they're basically brainwashed from what I've heard. Many of them will protect these sick men. Hopefully, they get the help they need.
