That people would study a country simply putting in more troops and bribing sects with cash handouts. THE "Surge" (spoken as if its some tangible thing, some definate concept and motion towards a grand plan) is simply not a brilliant, tactical offensive that could be read about amongst the strategies of the world's most brilliant generals.

It was a political movement to create an illusion that something new and different is creating a new and different output, as to prolong our involvement there (by garnering public support). Its nothing more and nothing less.

But I can't fault her for thinking of it this way: the woman hasn't had an original thought of her own. She's a shill and her act is old. Get her on Fox and Friend's allready.

by getting us tied down in Iraq he has basically gotten us to leave him the fuck alone while he regroups, expands, trains and recruits.

Basically we're doing the same thing the soviets did in Afghanistan, pouring our country's wealth down a rathole for illusory foreign policy and commercial gains. I don't see any reason to believe that the outcome will be any different.

We're being played for suckers and it would not surprise me if there are some other players involved in it. Like some would be world powers that have something to gain from the humiliation of the US.
