Donahue is a national treasure no doubt and I enjoy watching and listening to him. He was the best source of news that mattered to me as anyone was for so many years.

7. After seeing Body of War,

I honestly don't know how Phil holds it together when he talks to the war mongers. I know Tomas (the vet in Body of War) and I see his face and hear his voice every time one of those assholes talks about why we need to be in Iraq killing people. :grr:

10. I saw Tomas when he was on The Today Show with Phil, and he seems

to be a most remarkable man. It is so heartbreaking and I love the Phil created this documentary and disheartened as so few people will be able to see it in theaters.

It's opening up this week in lower Manhattan and I just can't get away to see it. I hope that it will be available to cable soon.

As to Phil and the warmongers. I was surprised that the showed so much respect for Phil and didn't ambush him with any wrongwing talking points.
