On April 9, 1865, Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee surrendered his army to Union Gen. Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Court House in Virginia.

On the Saturday before Easter I saw the exact replica of that twice on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Roanoke.

He never did honk his horn though. :grr:
