She's texting me about this. She's on duty at the near the ballpark.

She just said she had to put on her riot helmet. Some areas losing control.

Protesters mobbed the bus with the flame and made it very late to the starting point. The flame then went from the bus around through the service areas to a warehouse. After about 15 minutes now it's speculated that the flame will now take a BOAT to the Embarcadero, thereby bypassing the opening ceremony and thousands that have turned out to see the Olympic Flame.

Not a very auspicious start.
