I'm assuming you meant success sarcastically, since you used the word blame., and we obviously are not really successful these days.

6. And just what do you consider success? The US has had more
failures then success and even then the success were actually blundered into. But again when you say success who's success are you talking about? The poor had breif moments where things weren't as bad as other years, but they still had to live day by day, is that success? Same with the working man, they had years when employment was better then other years, but still they had to do back breaking work, some years it wasn't 1 man expected to do the work of 3 or 4 men, is that success? Or are you talking about the success of the top 10%? But then they think they earned their success and friends, family or education had nothing to do with it. So in their eyes they pat themselves on the back and say they made their own success, no matter how many millions gramps or daddy left them.
