Stevens 46% and Begich 45%.

Election 2008: Alaska Senate
Alaska: Stevens 46% Begich 45%
Thursday, April 10, 2008
Advertisment
In a difficult year for Republicans, Alaska Senator Ted Stevens is providing GOP leaders with yet another headache.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that Stevens is essentially even with Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich. Stevens currently attracts 46% of the vote while Begich earns 45%. Four percent (4%) say they’d vote for a third party option while 5% are not sure.

Any incumbent who polls below 50% is considered potentially vulnerable and that label certainly applies to Stevens

1. That's good news.
We're going to take Ca-04, a district that the pugs thought was safe forever.

2. wow, fantastic.
and in New Mexico Udall has increased his lead over Wilson and the other guy vying for the repub nom. He now leads both by over 20 pts. In CO, new dirt has just come out on Schaeffer who's running for the Senate against Mark Udall. Senate races in VA, NH, NM, AK and CO are looking very good.

4. Watch your votes folks.
When the MSM starts telling us which races we'll win (those we know we can't lose) the onus is off to tell us what really happens in the "close" races. Whenever they say "look at this", look elsewhere for the real news.
