Chaos, mayhem and murder in the streets
I could almost care less after my bath of peace.

Warm, womb like water welcomes
Envelops my skin and develops my whims.
Crashing and sinking, falling frothy into the waves.
The island of gut before me bobbing in a soapy sea
The cliffs of my knees; bumpy, bulging spires that beckon in the distance.
Ocean of heat eroding the shores of anxiety and the fjords of funk

Emerge from the depths renewed for a spell
Squeaky clean, new lease on life and that new car smell.
I still myself and close my eyes.
Feel the caress of the cool house air
On face and neck and the sensuous touch of my hair
Long beautiful hair
Long wish I could dwell there.

But things are better for a time. Washed away the world's grime. Enjoyed the moment that was mine.
