I am not a violent person. In fact that's kind of an understatement. But this video has made me feel... I don't know what to call it...

I think, rage.

I don't think my mind can comprehend shit like this... its like it defies any kind of reason, and so just pure fury... that kind of rage that is fueled by the depression knowing there are kids out there like this brings, fueled by the hopelessness that sets in when I live in a world with these stories... fueled by incomprehensibility of it all.

I just don't understand.

I wish I hadn't clicked. I just saw two or three seconds, but there really should be a warning with that video.

6. Does anyone remember that Powder Puff hazing video in a wealthy Il suburb?
That was actually worse than this: the top academic and athletic female students in the school, all 18 yrs old, beating younger girls, making them eat feces, paint thinner, fish guts, all in front of a cheering mob for 90 min. The real kicker is it had been an annual tradition for well over a decade.

We are a country that allows our government to perform violent, illegal acts in our name, and IMHO also legally murders with the death penalty, so why shouldn't that same violent energy trickle down to the populace?

10. The large group of women in that Il hazing were all given slaps on the wrist as well
"So a girl got her head split open, it's no big deal," was an infamous quote from one of the seniors. They were kicked out of their sports and academic groups and not allowed to go to prom. Their rich parents created an alternative, private prom just for them, limos and all. They all walked due to the embarrassment it caused the wealthy community - and school admin knew about it for yrs. Some parents were even charged in helping to gather feces for the event. Think about it, the top female students, and apparently some of their parents, collecting feces, urine and vomit in five gallon buckets for weeks ahead of time for the sole purpose of using it against the younger girls...

It is so hard for me to comprehend this, and it is not in my personal "vocabulary". I have never had personal contact with people like these in my life, Rich or Impoverished. It almost makes me believe (not really) in the movie The Seventh Sign (based on The Book of Revelations), and Heaven run out of souls to be born. For these people are truly soulless.

14. It was that actual school used in filming the movie The Breakfast Club
...in a wealthy Chicago suburb. The story broke in 03 or 04, very grizzly and just, as you indicate, beyond comprehension. Young girls were hospitalized w/injuries and bacteria infections - and this was something that had gone on in its current form since the early 90s; a former student was interviewed claiming that her Powder Puff was the first to smear the younger girls faces with feces. Other videos surfaced revealing previous yrs hazings, one with a young girl running through the woods from the senior women, terrorized.

I think the act of hazing, frighteningly common, is a form of systematic abuse that symbolizes the inherent abusive and hierarchal aspects of prevailing ideology: might = right ... especially these kids who come from wealth are, in many cases, destined for privileged roles in corporate America. It's easy to see early on how their mindset is tailored for such a superficial, cut throat world.

One can't help but imagining Icke's creepy lizard people... {remember?}

11. 'Dr. Phil' staff bails out Fla. girl charged in beating
BARTOW, Fla. (AP) — Employees of the Dr. Phil television show posted bail for a central Florida teenager jailed for taking part in a videotaped beating of another teen, a spokeswoman for the show's host confirmed Saturday.

Staff members of the talk show helped Mercades Nichols — one of eight teens facing charges in the case — post bond this weekend, "Dr. Phil" McGraw's spokeswoman Terri Corigliano said in an e-mail.

"We have helped guests and potential guests in the past when they need financial assistance to come on the show — assisting with clothing allowance, lost wages, accommodations, travel and necessities," Corigliano wrote. "In this case, certain staff members went beyond our guidelines (re the bail being paid)."

"These staff members have been spoken to and our policies reiterated. In addition, we have decided not to go forward with the story as our guidelines have been compromised."

The show's producers were in the process of booking guests for a program about the case, Corigliano wrote.

Only two of the teens remained jailed late Saturday night, Polk County Sheriff's Office spokesman Scott Wilder said.

The teens, whose ages range from 14 to 18, face kidnapping and misdemeanor battery charges. Three also face a felony charge of witness tampering. The state attorney's office says all will be tried as adults.

They certainly aren't kids. This is serious fucking sociopathy, and if they get a slap on the wrist, they're never going to change. Prison time might, emphasis on the might, make them wake the fuck up and realize you can't do shit like this. Hell, I've got a sadistic streak a mile wide, and I despise scum like this.

30. I'm thinking it's the people that lured her there that are facing life. That's kidnapping.
That's probably the most serious charge that will result from this. I don't know if any of the others have been charged with conspiracy to kidnapping or as accsseories to the kidnapping. I think they could get convictions if they file the charges.

38. I'm uneasy with charging juveniles as adults except in extreme circumstances, and when...
...the juvenile in question is not part of a larger group, and when the juvenile in question isn't 14. But that's beside the point - giving kids life imprisonment, regardless of what the crime was, to me seems cruel and unusual.

There are lots of selfish people in the world who put their own needs first. Most parents are still decent, which is fortunate for you since you will likely depend upon other people's children to take care of your needs in old age.

If not, have you informed your children that they may have to drop things and move to were you are to take care of you? Hope they don't have a partner that also has to move somewhere to take care of their parents at the same time. Hopefully you have informed them of this, that way if they want to they can marry someone who's parents of deferent age than you, to cut down on separation time, as well as plan when they have children if they want, to be able to keep their family together while still being able to take the time away to take care of you. That is unless you are going to do as most people with or with out children and pay children who grew up and chose to work in health care to take care of your needs for you.

with other people's children. I don't assume that they are all criminals in training nor do I believe that it's impossible to raise a good kid in modern society. I'm glad that other people decide to have and raise smart, responsible children who will one day be doctors, nurses and caretakers.

The actions on that tape say quite a lot about their parents. In all my years on the streets, I never met one kid in trouble who came from a good home with loving, attentive parents.
