It's not on for another hour here - any reason to watch?

3. That depends on your p.o.v. They're tearing Obama down real good.
Even Timmeh is half-heartedly defending him against the wolves.

4. I can't stand Matalin under any circumstances...
...Carville has gone off the deep end with his Judas comment about the Richardson endorsement - so I guess I won't enjoy today's Obama pile-on.

5. Goes to show you, the Clintons, DLC, Dem Powers that be will find a way
to give this election to the republicans if they can't have it. At any cost, they will do Obama in if they can.

NOTE: Yesterday's Washington Post In the Loop:

Spotted at lunch Wednesday at the pricey D.C. restaurant Il Mulino: Mark Penn, Burson-Marsteller chief and former chief strategist and major player in Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign.

His luncheon companion? None other than Karen P. Hughes, longtime Bush aide, White House counselor and State Department public diplomacy czar. We're told mutual friends arranged this as a "get-to-know-you lunch" while she was in town for a State Department public diplomacy award.

This is beginning to smell more than James Carville's connection to Mary Matalin...

20. Give me a break! This is news?
All the people in DC know each other, they all work in the same arena. Obama knows them all too, no one questioned his meetings with repubs, but then he can do no wrong.

Politicians are like car salesmen. They may work for different companies, and will fight like hell to make the sale. But, at the end of the day will stop in the bar and have a drink and talk about the sale. This is their job. They are not heroes. This is not a higher calling stuff. Some reps start out as idealists, but those who have been in politics for this long.........it's a job.

with the repukes and follows along the lines of their coordinated attacks against Obama, especially the one going on now. Now, you stated his meetings with the republican leadership such as Karen Hughes (so close to Cheney)you should tell us what meetings you are talking about. Thanks.

23. Obama's people have met with repubs
and it's looked on that he has "converted" them, you know, like Bloomberg. This is stupid. It's a game, a job, for everyone, even Obama. How in the hell could these people even work together if it was anything other than a job. There would be murders or at the very least, "news" leaks.

Don't even pretend to tell me that people who work in DC don't know just about every skeleton in each other's closet. I am willing to bet that just about everyone knows who's gay and who has a mistress. They probably know worse things about each other that we will never know. If they truly hated each other we would know all the dirty secrets in DC, and we don't.

Clinton's secret with Monica only came out because they wanted to bring him down, and they spent a lot of money doing it. Every other "secret" in DC has come out by accident, not a DC insider.

leaders in the republican party he has met with. Also, Bloomberg, is an Independent rather than a republican which is why everyone was speculating if he would run as an Independent. He has absolutely nothing to do with the powers that be in the republican party such as Karen Hughes does.

It is no secret as most media reports of the closer relation developing between Hillary and the republican powers that be along with the democrat powers that be.

11. How so? Everyone is salivating at the thought of Clinton winning; she
gets so many opportunities not afforded anyone else. If the positions of these candidates had been reversed, Obama would have been forced out long before now.

13. You know, sometimes I wonder what the repercussions are going to be for the media after this.....
campaign? It seems like they are managing to tick off both candidates' supporters. Each show seems to be solely for one candidate or another instead of kind of equal support or smear for each.

16. Are the multi-millionaires telling us how poor people feel?
I like that almost as much as the times when they have a panel of white men on to tell us about their extensive experience as members of black congregations.
