Amazing political comment interjected in Jeopardy last week.

I had a backlog of recorded Jeopardy programs I was watching on TiVo this weekend.

In one of the programs, the final Jeopardy answer was something like, "The only sitting vice president to be elected president since 1844." (I really don't recall the date, but it was over 50 years ago.)

One of the contestants put down, "Who is Al Gore?" At first, my reaction was "Retard!", but the contestant's wry smile and a moment's reflection gave it to me.
