Bush prepares global warming initiative...
Too late... asshole!...

But, what'r really fun is the Freeper comments below. They're having a helluva time dealing with this one.

"President Bush is poised to change course and announce as early as this week that he wants Congress to pass a bill to combat global warming, and will lay out principles for what that should include.

Specifics of the policy are still being fiercely debated, but Bush administration officials have told Republicans in Congress that they feel pressure to act now because they fear a coming regulatory nightmare. It would be the first time Mr. Bush has called for statutory authority on the subject.

"This is an attempt to move the administration and the party closer to the center on global warming. With these steps, it is hoped that the debate over this is over, and it is time to do something," said an administration source close to the White House who is familiar with the planning and who said to expect an announcement this week." http://www.washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080414/NATION/676175489/1001

The sooner this POS is out of office the better.

Bush is just trying to stop the nutcases from creating a regulatory nightmare in the future. Global warming is a fraud but the nutcases are real.

How much more evidence do the Bush supporters need: He is a big government as the next socialist (Ivy League schooled don't cha know) the elites have been implementing the plan: Increase in government control that is directly tied to the world government (global warming from EU and UN) ask MCCAIN why he supports major negative economic impact of Global warming laws and regs..and get the al gore answer to save the polar bears -LOL.

"This is an attempt to move the administration and the party closer to the center on global warming..." Note to clueless Bush Admin: There is NO CENTER. It is either full blown socialism. Or you're a knuckle dragger.

2. Can somebody explain to me again exactly how
acknowledging and addressing GW equates with "full blown socialism"?

'Cause I'm just not getting the connection.......

3. Oops! Earth Day coming up this week - better look busy!!!
Fucking pathetic. Seven years of denial, sabotage, obstruction and delay, and now he's going to dust off some bullshit proposal to "combat global warming".

Whatthefuckever, Chimpy.
