CNN, why, I mean I hardly watch the 'news' anymore. Just get it over with CNN, come one...admit out loud how much you hate Democrats! Or is it that we Dems don't hide every little 'vice' that derives from puritanical bullshit, we all know. Suppress that shit! Hide it, throw it into the basement and leave the light off! Oh and SINCE WHEN is drinking a big deal in America? This country floats in booze and Commander Dubya scarfs it down as soon as he gets out of camerashot. Come on CNN...just do it. We all know, get it over with already.

1. Actually drinking has always been a big deal in America and continues to this day

....to be problematic (as in MADD, under-aged drinking, in colleges, in the military, etc.) Drinking responsibly is very important and really needs to be demonstrated always.

Having said that, just what did CNN say about this and the Democratic candidates in these primaries?

I haven't seen the coverage, so that's probably why this doesn't make sense to me.

3. I think it's refreshing to see Hillary and Barack drinking

As long as someone can drink with moderation, I think it's fine. A person isn't an alcoholic just because they enjoy the taste of alcohol from time to time. Entire societies, like the French and the Irish seem to function and maintain self-control for the most part, even though the consumption of alcohol is a major cultural activity.
