4. I just asked my best friend tonight

(who works in "the industry" in Hollywood) if the economy had affected his industry much. He didn't feel it had. I was surprised that almost 40% of the respondents felt things were okay, then I thought that might be because of the biz??? :shrug:

6. New Line is laying off 450 and folding 40-50 into Time Warner.

My Emmy nominated friend (DP) hasn't had steady work for a looooong time. The strikes last fall and winter left a lot of people without pocket change... Of course, I'm on the East coast, but friends in "the industry" here can't even get temp jobs.

I've avoided hopping into the DU-Pit, but this stunt (and yes, I believe it was) by Camp Clinton is not only backfiring but turning her campaign into a total farce.
