Montgomery insurance executive John W. Goff, who has been indicted on fraud charges by a federal grand jury, says the criminal charges against him are political retaliation for his lawsuit against Gov. Bob Riley and others. Goff says the charges are "a rehash of a prior complaint" against him.
"The case was tried in state and federal court and arbitrated in New York and all of the facts and sworn testimony are contained in the records. The allegations in the indictment were all covered and tried years ago," Goff said in a written statement.
