Where can I find an online source for my state's laws?
You'd think this would be easy. I mean, shouldn't we be able to easily find and read the laws we're supposed to obey?

Maybe I'm just dense.

Can one of you direct me to a source? I'm looking for South Carolina laws, specifically in the areas of animal rights (pets) and noise/public nuisance laws (and no, this isn't a barking dog situation).

I've got all my state's laws in my "favorites" since I need to refer to them often in my work. I just googled "Alaska Statutes" and there they were. The kinds of things you're talking about here might be in an administrative code possibly.

Why don't you try this site http://www.loislawschool.com/product/information/states/southcarolina/index.htm and see if you can find what you're looking for.
