Hoping that COLBERT creamed Tweety last night. Re-run coming up at 8:30

When I checked out Tweety today, it took 10 seconds to barf and click away. First there was the WILD, prolonged cheering and I thought it was coverage of Pope Ratz from inside a monastery.


But, no... The camera panned the crowd then settled on Tweety's ENGORGED face, slurping on McNASTY's leg, looking as he always does on these college tours like the applause is for him.

So Tweety has let his inner THUG hang out when he has guested with STEWART, he really *is* tall and lumbering for starters, but he THUGGED and BULLIED his way throughout. Then with Ellen, he actually fancied himself as doing well in "dancing," and started out slinging her around, but then SERIESLY flipped her around from behind and grabbed her hard in a breast and choke hold, her hands literally clawing at the chokehold, and he finally THREW her on and against the furniture.


Jon is too genteel and subtle for Tweety. COLBERT didn't back down at the White House Correspondents Dinner, and I hope he sliced and diced Tweety to pieces.

2. HaHAH!1 "I'm routing for the (3 Mile Island) zombies against the Civil War reenactors!1"

All of his spiel is too hilarious and fast for my poor typing. He was doing an overview of Pennsylvania (map), pointed to 3 Mile Island with a zombie, then moved over to Gettysburg "where one of the zombies escaped to" and was pictured battling Civil War reenactors (hence, the line in the subject box).

3. Here we GO!1 Good move, he had Tweety SITTING instead of making an entrance

Tweety has his ga-ga goo goo giggle. So far Tweety is playing it square. COLBERT said, "Last time you and I wrestled like monkeys."

4. "The host of HANDball!1"

"You had OBAMA on for an hour. How HARD can your ball be? People won't come on my show. Doesn't that mean my ball is HARDER than yours. ..... You put people to sleep by six o'clook!"

5. Tweety just KILLED HIS DREAM. Said he has dreamed of being senator

Tweety was uncharacterically subdued, even wistful throughout. He didn't get off a single zinger.

A couple of times he asked whether he could answer seriesly. Then said, "Have you ever dreamed of being something---besides THIS, I mean?"

COLBERT: "I was going to say, I've achieved it."

Tweeter: "Well, ever since a kid I have dreamed of being a senator."



Every time COLBERT was heckling him to announce he will run for senator and stirred up the audience, Tweeter had a morose look.



Somebody once said, "Don't ever tell people your dream because they will KILL it!1"
