just for a minute..

click

Had this mother had her baby with her, she would have NEVER confronted the carjackers, and that little 4 month old baby would have its mother..

Who knows? Has they seen her with a baby, perhaps they would not have even tried to take her car..

and all to pay a stupid cell phone bill :grr:.. I hope they catch those bums..

1. How sad
And it scares me to death....there's a trend of thugs targeting mothers with small children in parking lots, it seems

2. Or they might have taken her car but she wouldn't have needed to confront them.
If someone wants my car bad enough, they can have it.

To show you how paranoid I used to be..

we lived WAAAAY out of town on a spooky little road..in a house all by itself..

I went so far as to pin a note to the bulletin board in the kitchen, in case we were ever robbed..

It said.. Please do not let the cat out..Take all you want, but don;t let my kitty out..

My husband finally made me take it down..

4. I always say that my dogs and cat are the most valuable things in my home.
It's probably true anyway, since practically everything here is at least 10 years old.

5. I remember
When a woman left her son in the back seat of her SUV, she left her keys in the car in front of a donut shop with the car running while she ran in to buy a snack. A man came along and started to steal the car - the mother ran and got the boy part way out of the car but he was hung up in his seat belt and the man kept driving - the little boy was dragged to death. It was so horrific and so terrible I will never forget it. I think it happened around 2000? Anyway - it stuck in my head.

I am pretty paranoid about kids in cars or even around cars. I have a 7 and an 8 year old and have never left them in a car....

I can't imagine how horrible everyone involved in the above OP's story must feel... (except for the criminals) And yes, I hope they are found and locked up soon.
