I just watched my TIVO'd Countdown. At the very end of Rachel's segment, after she discussed Buchanan "wtf" response to HRC's apparent willingness to attack Iran on Isreal's behalf (where she says he turned so far right that he bumped into her as she turned left).. Keith said "And then we all go off for a shot and a beer".

The way she looked at him after he said that ("thanks for not brining that up - ish") makes me REALLY wonder what happened after the Gregory show...

Rachel has grown tremendously over the last 3-4 years. When I first heard her on AAR in the early days, I didn't think she was all that good. However, she's really gotten the radio & TV format down now, and is always on top of the facts.

I guarantee that after the disses and back-handed slaps are over and the cameras shut off that these people more often than not take off the microphones and then head to the nearest bar/fundraiser/cocktail hour together.

Living in DC I see plenty of photos where people that were calling each other "traitor" in the morning were having drinks together in the evening.

It's all theater and the quicker one understands that, the better.
