5. There are three subjects; your verb tense is wrong: Should be:
A priest, a rabbi and a muslim WALK into a bar.... :sarcasm:

This is a real story this afternoon, you know. They both had clear ties to World War II.

I was expecting more than a joke!
And what's with the Muslim? Who invited him? I didn't hear that on CNN!

Cordially,

Radio Lady Ellen in Oregon

6. No, it's a developing news story. If it had needed a punchline, I would have put it in the
DU Lounge. No offense.

8. Eh, huh? Well, I think in Jewish, we'd say it, "Feh!" Correct me if I'm wrong.
However, context is everything...

Thanks for posting.

9. Ok, I got one.
So, there's a Catholic Priest, a Protestant Minister, a Baptist Preacher, and a Rabbi in town. They always get together in the park for lunch and conversation. However, when the subject tilts towards religion, it always comes down with the three Christians on one side and the Rabbi on the other.

Finally one day, on a particularly thorny subject, the rabbi can't take it anymore. He gets down on his knees and cries "Oh Lord, if I am right, please give me a sign!" Suddenly a ominous thundercloud comes out of nowhere, fills the previously sunny sky and rumbles, then quickly departs.

But the Baptist says "That's not a sign! Everyone knows warm weather is often followed by thunderstorms--it's just a meteorological phenomenon!"

So the rabbi gets down on his knees again "Oh Lord, if I am truly correct, another sign!" Four thunderclouds swiftly appear, meet in the center of the sky, and send a mighty lightning bolt down to earth, and strike a tall tree a few yards from where the men are sitting.

But the Minister says "That's not a sign! Everyone knows tall objects are the most susceptible to lightning, and this is the tallest tree in this area--it's just science!"

So the rabbi gets down on his knees again. "Oh Lord," he begins. Before he can continue, the sky fills with dark clouds. Rain comes pouring down, followed by thunder, lightning--and a mighty voice booms from the sky "THE JEW IS RIGHT!"

The rabbi looks at the others, expectantly. Finally, the Catholic priest says:

"Ok, have it your way--but it's still two against three..."

Happy Passover, if you happen to be celebrating it. If not, let's join in to welcome the spring. Oops! Is it still SNOWING where you are? Brooklyn, NY, I know it well. Did they ever sell that bridge, or is it still on the market?

...............Realtor at the door.... gotta vacate to let her show our home.

Thanks so much for your contribution.

We need all the laughter we can get during this tense election season!

Peace, love and happiness,
