So-Called "SURVEYS" from the Dem Party -- Anyone Else ANNOYED?

I just received the umpty-umpth "survey" from yet another Dem fiefdom, pretending to want my views but obviously just wanting my money.

Anyone else find these TOTALLY INFURIATING??!!!

Can they possibly work in terms of raising funds? Their persistence makes me fear they must.

I wish so much that Dem pols actually cared about my answers! But it's pathetically obvious they only open the return envelopes to see if there's payment inside. (I sometimes return them anyway, stating I give to the Dem pols who are doing their duty: John Conyers and Dennis Kucinich. {In fact, I've given to others; but Conyers and Kucinich are the most consistently on MY side.})

(Those "surveys" never even mention issues like election reform, media ownership reform, 'net neutrality, campaign finance reform, getting out of Iraq asap, impeachment, prosecuting higher-ups for torture, re-regulation, etc.)

I hate to be so negative, but sometimes I really feel these people should rot in hell.

But it is true. There must be dozens of PACs that support the environment. A good cause, but with so many doing the same thing their influence must be somewhat diluted.

4. We've gotten them too.

I fill them out, and usually put what I REALLY want from the Party, and send it back to them on their dime. Hell, let them pay postage. I'm not giving out any money until after the conventions. :shrug:

It definitely looks like a little flattery ("We care about your opinion") to get you to part with your money.

Never works on me. (A direct appeal works better)

I haven't seen any indication that the party cares what I think, so I give only to specific candidates who appear to be on my side already. (And then desperately hope they weren't just pulling my leg)
